The rain will possibly last for two days  in large parts of the country, due to the effects of southwest monsoon.

According to Pagasa, the weather system will affect the western section of Luzon, including Pangasinan, Zambales, Batangas, Mindoro, National Capital Region and Panay Island.

The authorities continued to remind possible floods and landslides in the affected area.

"Moderate to heavy rains is EXPECTED to occur over the western section of Luzon (Pangasinan, Zambales down south to Batangas and Mindoro, including the National Capital Region) and Panay Island due to the southwest monsoon, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides ."

Meanwhile, the weather bureau monitored the shallow low pressure area found on the part of the Philippine Sea.

It was lastly spotted 920 kilometers east of Northern Luzon (17.5 ° N 130.5 ° E).

Meanwhile, almost 350 families (includes more than 1,750 people) were evacuated in the evacuation centers in Quezon City, after the La Mesa Dam exceeds its spilling level.

In the report of the local city government, the evacuation of the residents are "pre-emptive" in case the water in the dam will overflow and the water will rise in the Tumana and Tullahan Rivers.

In the monitoring of Pagasa-Hydrometeorology Division, it was recorded that the water level in the dam is 80.15 meters.
