Province of Benguet, will undergo a state of calamity


BAGUIO CITY - the local government in the province of Benguet is now monitoring the said province to undergo a state of calamity due to extreme damage left by Typhoon Gener.

According to Nestor Fongwan, the Governor of Benguet, they are just waiting for reports from all the municipalities of Benguet to determine how much the value of damaged or damage left by "Gener" and here they will based if it will undergo a state of calamity.

Fongwan added, if their report is final it will be submitted to the provincial council of the said province to make and pass a resolution for the province of Benguet to undergo a state of calamity.

First, due to the onslaught of typhoon Gener there are many crops and roads that were damaged because of soil erosion also carrying heavy downpour.

There are already three people who died after they were buried when the soil collapsed
