DOH discouraged parents to buy "Pregnant Dolls"

In the middle of the trending and hot issue and debate about the House Bill 4244 or RH Bill of the Philippine Constitution, there are already issues about the growing population of Pregnant Dolls in the market specially in Manila.

DOH director Eduardo Janairo appealed about this issue and now discouraging the parents not yo buy Pregnant Dolls in the market. He strongly urged the public not to buy and sell these Pregnant Dolls around the market and website.

He said in a statement, “I recommend parents not to give the pregnant dolls for gifts this holiday season. It is inappropriate and offensive.”

He points out that Pregnant Dolls promotes the early teenage pregnancy especially to children.

“It promotes teenage pregnancy and tends to glamorize the life of teenage girls who have babies at a young age which is not a very good example to share to children,” said Janairo.
