What things your mother said would cure any ailment?

We have been all in our childhood and it is one of the best parts of our lives. We have a lot of different naughty and funny things in our memories during our childhood. But not just sweet funny things, we also experience sadness and difficult times in our childhood including having a disease. Most of us have difficulty having some ailment during our childhood but our mother would always offer any cure to make a relief for us. As your mother always grants us these cure, she also tells us that it could cure any ailment. But what are this cure your mother always tell you that would cure any ailment?

Chicken Soup. This is also quoted as “the best mother’s medicine” which is actually true for some of us. When you are sick, or normally has a fever, your mother always give you chicken soup which she serves hot and also tells you that if you ate a bowl of soup your fever will go away as soon as you’re done eating it. But medically, chicken soup is not a medicine that cures an ailment.

Sleep. Rest or sleep always gives you relief and it does a lot really when you are sick. When you are sleeping it lets you recover your strength and gain energy from your sickness. This is really a good advice from your mother because it is actually true. Our body really benefits from sleeping not just gaining new strength but also a stress-relief, develops healthy mind, etc.

Her kiss. The most annoying but sweet part of our childhood is that your mother will tell you that the only cure for any of your ailment is her kiss. Funny isn’t it? But a lot of mothers out there use this idea to help their child regain their strength, boost self-steam for faster recovery, trust and especially love.

Castor Oil. When you got sick in your childhood, you always wanted to be confined in a hospital rather than drink a castor oil. Many children don’t like the taste of castor oil but it is a good medicine for some ailment. But the funny part is, your mother always tells you things that scares you to drink castor oil but when you still don’t drink it, you mother really use some force and help.
