What might you end up if you order through a garbled drive-thru speaker?

Fast food chains and restaurants nowadays usually have their own drive-thru for better customer service. We all know that this drive-thru is manage by a crew or counter for personal services and other but most of all, it is just a speaker where you can say your order, wait for them to file it and then grab it and go.

This strategy makes a fast service and less crew effort (for drive-thru with speaker), but what might you end up if you order something through a garbled drive-thru speaker? Can it be a better and faster service? Or it will be a disaster customer service? Say you requested a hamburger, here is a list of what might you end up ordering that through a garbled drive-thru speaker.

Cheeseburger. The word burger is clear things to say even through a garbled speaker, but if you try a hamburger through garbled drive-thru speaker, you might end up grabbing a cheeseburger. Most fast food chains and restaurants usually have cheeseburger in their menu, and it is also one of the most sold burgers from them. That is why when you try to request some other burger through a garbled drive-thru speaker you might end up with their best-seller burger, but incidentally, it is cheeseburger.

You might also end up with some sauce and drinks together with your cheeseburger which you did not order and was just mess up with a faulty speaker. You can also get some other food like shakes, fries or a meal even if you just requested for a hamburger and you have said it many times.

French Fries. This is another worst food you might get if you requested through a garbled speaker in some drive-thru. Saying hamburger can’t be decoded into a French fries so it is bad for the machine. You can try two or three times requesting a burger to the speaker but a chance to get a French fries is an embarrassing service for the drive-thru management.

Sometimes you also get a free ketchup, mustard, cheese or mayonnaise together with your hamburger that happens to end up into a French fries. Funny thing isn’t it but also an embarrassment for their drive-thru management.

Hot Dog. Another worst case when you requested a hamburger through a garbled drive-thru speaker is that you might accept a hot dog which you did not requested either. The problem with some drive-thru is that they can’t fix nor change faulty speaker for better services. So, if you requested a burger and get a hot dog instead, try to report to their manager but not through the speaker.

And sometimes in some cases if you try to order a hot dog through a garbled drive-thru speaker, you might end up to a hamburger. That’s a cool swapped name for food isn’t it, hot dog for a hamburger and a hamburger for a hot dog.

There are other funny foods you might end up about this but is not funny for the customer. The worst case about this is that you might end up also to chicken nuggets, soda, salad or shake instead of a hamburger and so many other cases. You can’t pay for a bad food service and especially for a wrong food which you didn’t order.
