Two Low Pressure Areas (LPA) found but will not hit the country

The Low Pressure Area (LPA) to the east of Mindanao is expected to stay in ocean and will not hit in land.

Based on numerical model of Pagasa, if said weather disturbance will become a storm, it will go up to Japan.

The Low Pressure Area (LPA) was last spotted 490 kilometers east-southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

The weather bureau first announced that there is a possibility that it will become a storm over the next 24 hours which will be called storm "Gener."

Meanwhile, another low pressure area in northern Luzon is expected not to hit the land and will go away to other country.

It was last spotted 340 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes.

Although it is far from the land, the two weather systems intensifies the southwest monsoon which brings rain in large parts of the country.
