Tropical Storm Talim soon to become Storm Carina


The Tropical Storm with international name Talim partly become fast while crossing the general direction east-northeast toward Taiwan.

In latest forecast track of the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) of the U.S. Navy, the storm was last sighted in the distance 387 kilometers west of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

It retains its strong winds reaching 85 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts reaching 100 kph.

It moves currently with the speed of 13 kph.

AGASA initially announced it is expected to enter the territory of the Philippines, Wednesday afternoon.

This case is in the country, it is called the Storm "Carina".

Even if it enters the PAR, the center of the storm is still slightly away from the land of Luzon.

Right now, the Troopical Storm Talim intensifies the impact of Southwest Monsoon or Habagat in part of Vietnam and the West Philippine Sea.

  1. According to the Philippines weather news, another typhoon will hit the Philippines called Dindo. This might be the fourth typhoon that will enter to the country.
