Storm Butchoy leaving the Philippines - New Storm Carina coming


The Storm Butchoy (Typhoon Butchoy) not yet finally going far from the Philippines, PAGASA warned Filipinos today that another storm will possibly to come this week.

The Weather Burau continuously monitoring the forming tropical storm international codename of "Talim" on the part of the West Philippine Sea.

PAGASA reported, if the direction of the said tropical storm will not change, it is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Resoponsibility (PAR) this week.\

It is expected also that the said tropical storm will intensify the Southwest Monsoon.

In case that it enters the territory of the Philippines, it is called the storm "Carina."

In a separate report of the Joint Typhoon Warning Center of the U.S. Navy, the tropical storm are taking the general direction of east-south-east or in the distance of 909 kilometers west-northwest of Laoag City (18.7N 112.0E).

It retains its maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) speed of 13 kph toward Taiwan.

It is expected that it will affect the Northwestern Visayas, including Romblon and Boracay, Western Luzon, including Metro Manila and Subic.

Meanwhile, it'll be expected that the Storm Butchoy will leave the Phillipine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tonight or tomorrow morning.
